Wandering Monster Presents: lil’ Delvers

  • Wandering Monster is an adventure in collaborative storytelling.

Using games like Dungeons and Dragons, Wandering Monster helps kids develop real-world skills through imagination, teamwork, and play. No prior knowledge of role-playing games is needed.

Wandering Monster adventures are run by an experienced storyteller, good for kids aged 7–10 years. Players work together on shared adventures where they solve problems and practice communication. Players use reading, math, and conflict resolution skills in a low-pressure setting to explore myth, magic, and mischief!

It’s not about winning or losing; it’s about giving kids a safe collaborative space to socialize, think critically, and discover their own voice through story and adventure.

Note from the Literacy Kid Lounge + bookshop:

This series is facilitated and billed by Wandering Moster and will meet on Fridays from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM.

Literacy Kid Lounge + Bookshop is just a space for this class to be held. Caregivers are required to stay onsite.

AN ADVENTURE IN COLLABORATIVE STORYTELLING

Join us for fun in july! Every Monday from 3 PM - 4:30 PM. Ages 4 years to 7 years.

Each week, we will read a different School of Monsters book by Sally Rippin and learn how to draw one of the characters together. Kiddos will build listening, literacy, and creative skills while bringing their favorite monster friends to life on paper.

Each child will take home:
• The School of Monsters book we read that week
• A frame-worthy piece of artwork they created themselves

This is the perfect class for beginning readers, emerging artists, and kids who love stories, drawing, and silly monster adventures.
