Banned Books Experience @ Literacy Kid Lounge

Join us for a special Banned Book Experience at Literacy Kid Lounge, where we’ll dive into stories that have sparked discussion and celebrated the power of imagination and inclusion! In honor of Banned Books Week, we’ll be reading Where The Wild Things Are and Julian Is A Mermaid—two timeless tales that have faced challenges but continue to inspire readers of all ages.

In addition to storytime, we’ll have a special book display featuring To Kill A Mockingbird and other notable titles such as I Am Jazz, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, and Charlotte's Web. Celebrate the importance of diverse stories and the freedom to read with your little ones!

Please note, this is not a drop-off event. Caregivers and parents are required to stay and join in on the experience.We encourage you to participate and enjoy these special stories with your child!
